Kate’s Barbecue Sauce: Review
This barbecue sauce was created one night when I really really wanted to try out a new spaghetti dish that I needed barbecue sauce for. I hardly ever keep bottled barbecue sauce in the house because it’s so easy to make but this particular night I also didn’t have many of the ingredients I usually use to make it. So instead of olive oil or canola oil I used bacon fat and instead of vinegar I used lime juice. And no sugar? No problem – I just used honey! And guess what? It was some of the tastiest barbecue sauce I’ve ever had!
This recipe shows that sometimes, the best things come from the things you don’t have! I think this will be my go-to barbecue sauce from now on. It’s just that good!
