Spicy Spaghetti Sauce

2 cans diced tomatoes $2.00
1 large onion   $0.47
1 red bell pepper, roughly chopped $0.45
4 Roma tomatoes $2.00
1 head cilantro, finely chopped $0.99
6 cloves garlic  $0.06
1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes $0.23
1 teaspoon paprika $0.16
2 bay leaves $0.34
Salt and pepper $0.02

Total Cost   $6.72

1.) In food processor, blend canned tomatoes, onion, and garlic until fairly smooth. Pour in large saucepan and set over very low heat.

2.) Add remaining ingredients and stir well until combined. Cook, uncovered, for 5 – 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

3.) Serve and enjoy!
