Quick N’ Easy Mac N’ Cheese
For the days you need comfort food, but just don’t have the time to make it.

1/2 pound bacon, chopped $2.35
1 can stewed tomatoes, drained $0.99
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese $2.50
1/2 package dry penne$0.99
1 cup bread crumbs $0.42
3 tablespoons of butter, melted $0.18
Total Cost $7.43
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the bread crumbs in the melted butter and stir until thoroughly combined.
2.) Cook penne according to package directions. Meanwhile, place bacon pieces in a frying pan with enough water to just cover the bottom of the pan. Cook until bacon is browned. When penne is al dente, drain.
3.) Spray a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. After pasta has been drained, pour into casserole dish.
4.) Add to the penne the bacon, tomatoes, and cheese. Stir until all of it has been combined. Top by sprinkling bread crumbs over the top of the pasta.
5.) Place in the oven until cheese has become gooey, bread crumbs are browned, and pasta is warmed through.
6.) Serve and enjoy!
