Cranberry Sauce

Because what’s Turkey Dinner without it?

1 package dried cranberries $1.99
1 1/2 cups water FREE!
1 teaspoon ground cloves $0.29
1 teaspoon ground all spice $0.15
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon $0.15
2 cups white sugar $0.38

Total Cost  $2.96

1.) Place cranberries and water in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the allspice, cinnamon, and cloves.

2.) Cook until cranberries become soft and begin to burst, about 10 – 15 minutes.

3.) Stir in sugar and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minuets longer, or until sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to completely cool. Place in the refrigerator overnight so that flavours can marry and sauce can firm up. If you can’t refrigerate it overnight, try for at least 8 hours.

4.) Serve and enjoy!
